Eating Raisins

So I got alot of things accomplished on this trip to the park.  I have a maternity shoot next weekend and i wanted to check out a cute little park a couple of miles from my house.  So i said, what the heck, load up the kid, grab the camera, lets go ahead and check this place out before i confirm that this will be the perfect place for it.  Well, looks like it is, and while i was there, i was able to try out my newest lens (50mm 1.4 AF-S – yeah baby!) on MY child who was actually sitting still, well kinda.  I had to bribe with a box of raisins!  She was in open shade, and it was around 5:00 pm.  The pictures are fabulous.  Crystal clear, sharp, bright – of course i did a little editing, but not much, seriously.  A touch of brightening, some contrast, added some black, and sharpened a tad and voila, the perfect portrait.  This is my style, and i feel that i am getting better at it everyday!
