Introducing North Georgia Pediatric Dentistry! {Braselton, Ga Child Photographer}
I am proud to introduce the most humble, hottest, modern, and up-and-coming Pediatric dentist office in the area, North Georgia Pediatric Dentistry (www.startlifesmiling.com). NGPD is located on HWY 211 in Braselton, Ga near Chateau Elan and Jeffrey’s Bar & Grill. I first found out about NGPD through a fabulous mailer that came to my home advertising their practice. As a mom to a 3.5 yr old, they definitely caught my eye. I had not taken Olivia to the dentist yet, and quite frankly, I was still looking for the perfect place for my daughter. When I went online to view their info, I was amazed. As a business owner myself, I was quite partial to the fact that NGPD is owned and operated by a Husband & Wife team, the lovely Amber and Dr. Chris Halper. When I booked Olivia’s appointment, the staff were so informative, and if you know how I work, I had a TON of questions. Their goal is to make every child feel as comfortable as possible when coming to the dentist for the first time. Let’s face it, to a child, it can be quite scary….and with my timid Olivia, it is hard to calm her nerves when she is approached and asked to do something that “she” doesn’t want to do or go through. For instance, Dr. Chris wants his patients to call him by his first name…personal. I like that. Alot. 
That goes a long way with kids and me 😉 
When we arrived at NGPD, Olivia was taken into a sitting room with cute stuffed animals and a large TV (Dora was even playing…her favorite!!!). The dental assistant talked to her and explained everything that was going to be done at the visit…but on a child’s level. It was like they “knew” her. And she took to that! During x-rays, they let her put the film the machine, Dr. Chris colored with her before she sat in the dentist chair! She didn’t actually sit, but she layed on me while he did her cleaning, etc. She loved every minute of it with ZERO fear or crying…and that is not like her. I was amazed….and from that moment on I knew we had found our pediatric dentist.
North Georgia Pediatric Dentistry offers the following services:

- Restorative treatment (tooth color fillings, root canal for baby teeth, caps)
- Nitrous Oxide utilization in the office

For now, I want to share with you images from the practice and Dr. Chris with his fabulous team at work. This weekend, I am holding a mini session for 6 families to capture images for his “smile” walls located throughout the practice. I can’t wait to get this project completed for them! It is going to be so spectacular!
